Congratulations Andy 'Bubble' Chambers, Windsurfer of the Year!
The results of the UKWA Windsurfer of the Year 2008 award were announced at the UKWA prizegiving event on the evening of Saturday 15 November, and we are delighted that our very own Andy 'Bubble' Chambers has won!
Bubble is a long time Club Vass instructor, having worked in Vassiliki, Dahab and Margarita, and has passed on his skills and expertise to hundreds of you. As well as being a gifted instructor, Bubble has been steadily building up his freestyle repertoire and has been British number one for the past three years. A regular PWA competitor, Bubble has twice this year broken in to the top ten - and his winter training programme is widely expected to build upon this success in 2009.

Vote Andy 'Bubble' Chambers for Windsurfer of the Year 2008!
Our very own Andy 'Bubble' Chambers has made it to the final round of the 2008 Windsurfer of the Year awards. Not only has he reached new heights in competition this year, he also continues to give his all back to the sport we all love.
Only 25 years old, Bubble has steadily been building up his freestyle repertoire while working around the world for Club Vass - most recently in Vassiliki this summer. Despite the level of freestyle having rocketed this year once more, Bubble has managed to keep up, carry on learning and posting some great PWA Freestyle results. Still young and fast learning, he may yet end this season on even more of a high.

This gives Bubble an overall 2008 ranking of 16th on the freestyle tour; with a winter of training next on the cards, expect him to be well up in the top ten next summer! - STOP PRESS**

Bubble and Colin's UK Tour
These two Club Vass favourites are running a series of clinics this Autumn back here in the UK. Bubble has been British freestyle number one for the past two years and is a regular PWA competitor, and Colin is British number two, hot on Bubble's heels. As well as being outstanding sailors, they are gifted instructors guaranteed to help you learn.
The clinics focus on different skills in different locations, from freeride to freestyle and even an introduction to waves and forwards.
