Our Club Vass team is the highest qualified in the world, with the most RYA Advance Plus Instructors you'll find in any centre. They are all true professionals, with a relaxed and friendly approach and endless enthusiasm, so you can't help but make rapid progress. Many of our instructors move around the world with us, so you'll recognise familiar here in Dahab!

Chris Hartley - Centre Manager - Advanced Plus instructor

Chris learnt to windsurf after working a summer as a sailing instructor and has never looked back. His passion for the sport is second to none and after two seasons in both Vass and Dahab, his sailing just gets better and better. Chris' smooth style on the water goes hand in hand with his in-depth and enthusiastic tuition. With a great deal of knowledge and experience, Chris has become a key member of the team. This witty, happy chappy from Watford is a thoroughly nice guy who's always ready to help with a smile on his face.

Jonny Freshwater

After some time in the slightly cooler climes of scotland this legendary big Scot is back with us once again. Right from the age of 13 he has been teaching people to windsurf in one way or another and first graced the shores of Vassiliki in 1997. Since then this young Scot's enthusiasm for teaching and windsurfing has only grown. As good on the water as off, Jonny's 2am looping chats at the front of the Zeus bar are world renowned.

Nancy Tyrie - Intermediate Planing Instructor

Nancy brings considerable experience, talent and VOLUME to the team. Super competent and never found without a massive grin! She's ditched the big boats to concentrate on her sailing and is starting competing this summer! She has set high goals and between teaching can be seen practicing her spocks and frontloops. Outrageous is her middle name; no wonder she fits in so well!'

Nick Abrams - Intermediate Planing Instructor

Nick arrived in Egypt last winter after a season in Vass and has chosen to stay here for the summer. This skinny fat man can be caught at the bar feeding on ice cream and cakes whenever he's not on the water. Honing both his teaching and freestyle skills this young whipper snapper will be one to watch. The force is strong...
