Vassiliki's extraordinary local wind phenomenon is renowned throughout the windsurfing world. The wind shifts in direction and strength halfway through the day keeping all levels more than happy. And the warm, clear water means you won't want to get out.
Mornings: Beginners and improvers have a gentle start with the light on-shore breeze and calm, flat sea which makes learning easy.
Afternoons: The more advanced can go as wild as they wish in the howling cross-shore. The afternoon's session is essentially a thermal wind, accelerated by the dramatic mountain overlooking the bay. The sea remains fairly flat, but there is some great chop for bump and stunts.
