At the spiritual home of Club Vass, the Vassiliki Watersports Festival combines the best of windsurfing, sailing, BMX, skateboarding, BBQ’s and of course the odd PARTY or two!! Starting on the 11th of June 2010, the festival is now in its fourth year.
With a truly European flavour the festival will be an action packed, fun filled event. Spend some time honing your skills at Club Vass under the watchful eye of our elite instructors, using the latest equipment, before you experience the festival itself.
The festival is the biggest Festival of its kind in Greece and includes:
- EFPA (European Professional Windsurf Competition)
- Open Windsurf Slalom Event
- Sailing Regatta with Open Catamaran, Open Dinghy, Laser and Yacht classes
- Mountain Bike racing
- BMX display
- Sponsors’ parties
- Greek cultural and dancing night
- Miss Bikini and live bands
- And much more!
If you have the competitive urge then entries to the windsurfing and sailing competition have to be booked and paid for separately. Places are limited so you really need to book early by e-mailing info@vassiliki-watersports-festival.com or completing an entry form on the website www.vassiliki-watersports-festival.com.
Even if competing is not your scene, everybody is welcome to come to all events free of charge, starting with the Greek night on the Friday which will have the Lefkas band, Lefkas dance troupe, fireworks welcome speeches etc, Saturday night Miss Bikini comp + UK band, Sunday bike race and prize giving and more dancing (VIP dinner afterwards for competitors and organisers) and Monday final prize giving and party.
