They are all true professionals, with a relaxed and friendly approach and endless enthusiasm, so you can't help but make rapid progress. Many of our instructors move around the world with us, so you'll recognise familiar here in Dahab!
John (Palmer) - Beach Club Manager
This Yorkshire lad has been working for us on and off for several years and he's finally made it back full time. With 2 summers in Dahab and 2 in Morocco under his belt, John's freestyle skills are now a force to be reckoned with and his endless enthusiasm for teaching and windsurfing will never fail to make you learn...and smile!

Mike
The kid from Staines has been windsurfing since he was a proper little nipper, with years of working at Queen Mary Reservoir. Having a go at a proper job at EA games he’s decided to give up his gaming career and come back to Dahab. Mike’s windsurfing skills from waves to racing to freestyle are up with the best, giving him all the knowledge to teach everything! Last seen hanging round the corner saying ‘Bo ya kasha’

James
A recent addition to the Club Vass team and he’s already loving it in Dahab! The manic lad from up North is normally found practicing or teaching windsurfing, when not using his tractor. Looking forward to learning some new moves whilst sharing his love of the sport, Welcome to Club Vass James.

John (Yeomans)
John has been living on a remote island in Scotland eating curry all his life so he finally has decided its time to have some fun with Vass! Living near Tiree he has been trained by the best, and now he wants his windsurfing skills to rub off on everyone! Passionate about the sport its great to have him on the team .

Salama
A full blown Egyptian windsurfing legend, Salo is regularly found bustin’ top moves with the best in baby bay. When he isn’t putting the other windsurfers to shame he becomes a 1 man board repairing factory and top instructor. His sick sailing ability and an un-rivaled local knowledge makes him the man to ask if your unsure of you weapon of choice.

Ahmed
Salo’s cheeky Egyptian freestyle brother in training. Ahmed recently qualified as an RYA instructor and is already hot beach property. His cheeky grin and friendly attitude make him a star member of the Club Dahab theme.

Nasser
Club Dahab’s longest standing team member, Nasser has been a star since windsurfers first arrived in Dahab. When not on the beach Nasser takes to the water for some windsurfing with a bucket load of passion for the sport!

Sally
Wandsworth’s legendary windsurfing chick, Sally, originally found Dahab on holiday one winter and loved it sooooo much, she ended up becoming the infamous tree bar’s top totty. After blagging her way as the local “tennis coach”, she found her way into windsurfing instructordom. Now, after serving a short sentence in the shackles of the ‘real world’, she finally escaped this year to re-join the Vass team and re-discover her love of windsurfing.
