Having a bar within the centre itself means afternoons can get very relaxing. The local beverages are surprisingly good, despite the brewers themselves not being allowed to taste them, and are always served icey cold.
Throughout the week we oganise a selection of evening events to make sure you make the most of being in Egypt.
Welcome Drinks
On arrival, there's no better way is to unwind than with a complimentary welcome drink in the Club Dahab Bar. Its a good chance to get to know the team and of course they can answer the burning question - "Is it windy?"
Masbat Night
Masbat is the local town, about a ten minute taxi drive away. The team will take you to their favourite waterfront restaurants, giving you the chance to sample the local cuisine. The town is lined with bazaars and stalls where you will have an opportunity to find your fancy dress outfit for the BBQ night.
The night owls can sample the action later on in the Tota bar. Shaped like an old galley, it stands proud on the waterfront, attracting even the saltiest of seadogs.
Bedouin Night
If you've never ridden a camel across North Africa before, here is your chance... After a short jeep ride across the desert, we will saddle each of you up with a camel and a guide and head off into the mountains. On arrival at the oasis, the Bedouins serve us one of their traditional meals, cooked over an open fire. The rest of the evening is spent under the stars, enjoyoing the singing and dancing from the locals whilst sipping tea.
Club Dahab BBQ
It's the biggest night in the bay attracting wannabe Club Dahabers from the other centres...oh yes, the legendary Club Dahab Barbecue!
Our barbies are all themed and dress code is strictly compulsory. Its easy enough, Egyptian stylee all the way. The shops and stores in the local town are loaded with Arabic fancies so you can easily get inventive once out here...
The barbie feast is prepared by the hotel staff and served on the beach. Magdi the barman is ever-present to keep the cold beers flowing and the music pumping.
The rest of the evening is free to boogie down on the Club Dahab dance floor and maybe, just maybe take on the legendary GAP...
