Jungle Trekking in Margarita
Jungle trekking is a weekly event, arranged in resort, and is highly recommended.
A very knowledgeable and charming local guide will show you exotic flora and fauna, including tarantulas. The trek takes in fantastic views of the island and swimming in the river is a welcome refresher before a locally prepared picnic (courtesy of the guide's mum) which includes delicious local speciality, 'arepas'.
Isla de Coche
A short half-hour boat ride from our Club… Amazing glassy flat blue water - it's 'Gybe City'. Clean consistent winds, often with the bay to yourself. Dazzling white half moon beach, beautiful tropical gardens.
Los Roques
A mere 1-hour flight from Margarita, this stunning archipelago of pearl-like islands is one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets… Island hop by windsurf (or boat), in crystal seas. Swim, snorkel or dive with dolphins, turtles and abundant sea life. Day trips or overnight stays in the charming fishing village on Gran Roque can be arranged in resort…it's true desert island paradise!
