Getting Going - Beginners and Improvers
Beginners and Improvers are generally out on the water in the mornings to take advantage of the gentler wind and flatter sea. On water time is prioritised and theory sessions are scheduled in as necessary. Improvers also benefit from some afternoon on-water coaching as an introduction to beach-starts, the harness and higher wind techniques.
Intermediates to Hotshots
Intermediate and Advanced sailors start slightly later, usually with a theory session, and possibly a light wind on-water session before lunch. The main water based tuition for these groups takes place when the wind picks up during the afternoon. Then it's as much free-sailing as you like until the wind drops or the sun sets!
