If you are windsurfing, please bring a passport size photograph with you for your windsurfing card!
For Spending Money
Currency wise there is currently only one cash machine in Vassiliki town - it is advisable that you bring euros with you. There are a couple of local tourists offices that will exchange travellers cheques. Most of the local tavernas and shops will not accept credit cards.
We operate a tab system at the Club and require a credit card for security, although we do now accept debit cards as payment. Unfortunately Maestro cards do not currently work in our credit card machine.
For Windsurfing
There are a limited number of windsurfing harnesses and wetsuits to hire, but we recommend that you bring your own.
The beach in Vass is pebbly and although it is carpeted down to the sea you may wish to bring your own booties - if not, booties are available in the shop.
We do advise that guests bring their own beach towel as we do not provide these at the Club.
May, June and September:
Although it is warm at this time of the year, the water can feel a bit fresh! A shorty may be needed if you feel the cold. After sunset, warm clothing is advisable - a jumper or hoody.
July and August:
Board shorts and rash vests are usually all you need at this time unless you are really prone to getting cold. Rash vests are very important for protection against the sun.
For The Little Ones
We have a microwave at the centre for heating up and sterilising milk bottles. Although we do have a Kids menu for older children, we advise you to bring baby food and milk for children under 18 months - baby food is available at the supermarkets but there is a limited choice
And Finally...
BRING PLENTY OF SUNCREAM.........
